Please note that HomeGround’s office will close at 4:00 pm on Friday 22nd December 2023 and reopen at 9:00 am on Tuesday 2nd January 2024. Voluntary Undertakings by Abacus Land 1 (Holdco 1) Limited with the CMA

For Leases granted by Countryside Properties at Hunt Lane, Chadderton, OL9. We are pleased to confirm that, following an agreement between developer Countryside Properties and Abacus, Abacus has entered into voluntary Undertakings with the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), to offer to remove rent review clauses from 59 leases at Hunt Lane, originally granted by Countryside with rent review clauses doubling more frequently than every 20 years (Doubling Clauses), including where these had been replaced with reviews linked to the Retail Prices Index (RPI).

Adriatic Land 3 Limited agreement with Redrow Real Estates Limited

For Leases granted by Redrow Real Estates Limited that were acquired by Adriatic at Crawford Building, London E1 and Kingston Riverside, Kingston-Upon-Thames KT2 We are pleased to confirm that, following an agreement between developer Redrow with Adriatic, Adriatic will offer to remove rent review clauses from 210 leases at Kingston Riverside, originally granted by Redrow with rent review clauses doubling more frequently than every 20 years (Doubling Clauses). Adriatic will also vary the overriding lease owned by Redrow at Crawford Building to permit them to vary those residential underleases held under their lease which contain Doubling Clauses.

For Leases granted by Miller Homes Limited that were acquired by Adriatic at Silsoe and Abacus at Fairfield Drive We are pleased to confirm that, following an agreement between developer Miller Homes with Adriatic and Abacus, Adriatic and Abacus will offer to remove rent review clauses from 3 leases at Silsoe and one lease at Fairfield Drive respectively, originally granted by Miller Homes with rent review clauses doubling more frequently than every 20 years (Doubling Clauses).
